Baby Blanket Experiment

I am addicted to the remnant baskets at Joanne's fabric store. One day I was rummaging throught the baskets and found this adorable pink teapot flannel fabric. I have a thing for teapots, so I had to have it. I thought it would make a good kids blanket. I had this green quilted fabric in the collection already so decided to make my first blanket. Well, this is what came out. It's for sale here, in my Etsy store.

Orange Paisley Pillow

This fabric has a special place in my heart. The very first pillow cover I made was out of this fabric. This pillow has an envelope enclosure with a pillow form inside, for easy washing and easy switching! This 14 x 14 pillow is for sale here, at my Etsy store.

Cute Cafe Apron

This was the first cafe apron I attempted to make and it didn't come out perfect at first, so after some reworking and time with the seam ripper, this fun little apron turned out much better. I like the length and the fabric is just so cute. It's available here at my Etsy store.

Quilted Tote with Green Trim

This bag is so cute, it's one of my favorite projects. It was made from double-sided quilted fabric with a green gros-grain ribbon around the top. It's a nice size, great for school, the beach or baby. It's available here at my Etsy store.

Lovely Rose Potholders

These are some lovely little potholders that I made using a beautiful Moda cotton fabric. I padded it with insul-bright, a product that keeps cold cold, and hot hot. These potholders are for sale, here at my Etsy store.

In Progress: Cow Tote

This is a tote bag that is currently listed on my Etsy Store. I got the idea for this bag from a Martha Stewart magazine. She did a special article about bias tape. Bias tape is the black trim binding the tote together, bordering the pockets and on the straps. I love the possibilties you have with bias tape, color combinations are endless!

This pillow is made with an envelope enclosure for easy washing. You can also use one pillow form and have several slipcovers to change when you need a change of pace. I love the retro pattern of this fabric. This pillow is for sale here.
